IX-WAI Women in Science Career Day

Earlier this month, SurgeryAI was delighted to take part in the inaugural I-X Women in Science Career Day at Imperial College London. The event, hosted by the I-X Women in AI Network, brought together nearly 60 participants ranging from undergraduate and master’s students to PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers.

The day was filled with inspiring workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all designed to support and encourage women pursuing careers in science, technology, and AI. Alongside leading employers, researchers, and start-up founders, SurgeryAI joined as one of the exhibiting companies, showcasing our work on AI-driven surgery scheduling and connecting with the next generation of scientists and innovators.

We’re proud to have been part of such an empowering initiative and to contribute to a community that celebrates diversity and drives innovation forward.
